Community Guidelines

Only upload photos, videos, text and location data that you own or that you have explicit permission to share. Do not upload other people's work without their consent.

Don't exaggerate access, difficulty or safety. Don't post misleading coordinates, fake locations or content created to deceive. Update or remove content when you know it's wrong.

Do not post locations that require trespassing on private land, breaking into closed areas or breaking the law. Do not post anything that puts other people, wildlife or fragile environments at risk.

Some places are vulnerable to overuse, protected for cultural or ecological reasons, or private by request of the community. Do not reveal sensitive private locations without permission. If in doubt, keep them private to yourself or your group.

Leave no trace. Follow local customs. Keep distance from wildlife. Be considerate of residents and other visitors.

If you see content that breaks these guidelines or that is unsafe, use the "Report spot" button on the location page, or email spotdigger@hires.fi.

Spot Digger may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts at its sole discretion for any violation of these guidelines or our Terms of Service.
