Import Inbox

Beta

Bring places in from Google Maps, Garmin and more. We turn them into draft spots and routes — you stay in control, nothing is published until you approve it.

Import is in beta. Parsing, geocoding and AI enrichment can be incomplete or inaccurate. Always verify coordinates, access and safety before approving a spot.

Private Google Maps saved lists can't be read directly — use Paste place names for the most reliable list import.

1. Choose a source

The fastest way to bring places in. Paste tabular text or type rows directly. The Location column auto-detects coordinates, Plus Codes, addresses or place names and resolves them client-side. Add an optional area/context to improve geocoding accuracy.

2. Fill in your places

Smart Location Import

Four columns: Name, Location, Description, Notes. Location auto-detects coordinates, Plus Codes or place names and resolves them in your browser. Paste tabular text directly into any row.

Helps geocoding for ambiguous names and short Plus Codes.

Geocoding uses the free OpenStreetMap Nominatim service (max 1 request/sec). Plus Codes are decoded in your browser. Imported places land in the Import Inbox as drafts — low-confidence or unresolved rows are flagged for review.
